What will you pray for today?

We are making final preparations to begin our travels back to Papua New Guinea tomorrow morning.

Already it is shaping up to be a pretty eventful trip and we haven't even left yet. The question that has been on my mind today - Should I be praying for safety, protection, and wisdom or just heaps of grace to handle whatever!!! One requires more faith, while the other requires more Christlike behavior when things go wrong. If you don't know the answer, I will keep it simple. Pray for both! :)

Here are some quick prayer requests:

1. Kayla, at less than three months of age, already has two teeth coming in. Pray that the medication dulls the pain so she can return to her bubbly self.

2. A couple of months ago when we had our tickets changed to the 31st of July, the airline forgot to re-assign seat numbers. They issued duplicate tickets and mysteriously lost our accumulated travelling mileage.

Because our seats are scattered about the plane, I am going in 5 hours early to the airport to try to be the first in line to get some seats together and work out some of the kinks of our travel plans. Please pray the managers on duty are gracious.

3. We have to overnight in Jakarta, Indonesia and have not been able to secure any rooms in any of the hotels through our travel agent. Pray that when we land after 24 hours of traveling, we can find a place to rest up before continuing on the next day.

Thank you for your part in partnering with us!

Paperwork has Arrived!!

We want to thank you for praying for our paperwork situation. We just heard that our passports arrived in Ohio today. Praise The Lord!!! They appear to have all the proper work and entry permits stamped in them. We are scheduled to leave for Papua New Guinea on July 31. Now that our paperwork is completed, we can work on finalizing the details of our trip through Indonesia.
